I HAVE been downloading manuals, reference, notes, etc. (even the old ones)
and trying to find ANYthing that does more than mention in.pmd

I have gleaned (from the binary, in.pmd) the string "/etc/pmdtab" which I
think is the answer to my problem, if that helps YOUR quest !
