I found that doc, as well. According to the same, other than the
configuration that is done on the PortMaster, the only thing that need to be
done on the "host" (Solaris machine) is:

1- the in.pmd entry in inetd.conf (and relevant /etc/services entry)
2- bumping inetd to re-read it's config file.

...and at this point,

<lets say I have issued something similar to "set s2 login device
/dev/ttyrf" on the PortMaster>

.../dev/ttyrf on my Solaris machine is now connected to s2 on the
PortMaster??

I am doubting this.

Is it true that there does _not_ need to be anything configured on the
Solaris machine that tells in.pmd to map specific pseudo tty's to specific
ports on the PortMaster?
