Hi,

I have a new customer that is having problems getting connect to our
PM3s. I show he is connecting to the Portmaster (did not catch speed)
and LCP negotiation starts, but keeps giving me a "reply to old request"
and "received pap on down lcp" message. The customer gets message 'DUN
could not negotiate protocols, go check control panel' message.

So far I have reinstalled DUN, triple checked settings, PAP_AUTH_REQ
message shows he's using the right username/pass, slowed port down
from 115,200 bps to 57,600 bps, made sure tcp/ip is installed and
selected in DUN, killed off extra protocols (NETBEUI/IPX), punched in our
DNS server numbers into DUN, disabled WINS, and sacrified a chicken.

Last few attempts I had him turn on post-dial term window, after
connecting it pops up with our login banner, so we are obviously not
getting garbage or overrun characters that I can tell. Had him try to
log in manually from the post-dial window, and still get the same problem.

Any clues as to whats happening?
