(PM) User can't get to DNS, but IP works?

I have a business customer that has a local area network using
Netbeui/IPX/SPX. For some reason, when they get hooked to us, it doesn't
allow any DNS lookups anymore. I have tried configuring Dial-Up networking
and also Networking (TCP/IP) with our DNS servers like normal, but nothing
seems to work. They were on fine before switching from a Novell network to
a Netbeui network. All of a sudden they can't do DNS look-ups. If I type in
the IP address directly, it goes to the website fine, so traffic is going
through. Pinging the DNS servers works. For some reason it just doesn't
want to work doing DNS look-ups anymore. Anybody run into this? I've tried
everything aside from reinstalling Windows. This is a business client, so I
was called into the office to try to get this to work. After spending three
hours there, nothing seems to work. Any helpful hints would greatly be
appreciated.
Thanks!
