So far my ADSL customers have been able to get full speed (GTE/SoCal)
out of their ADSL connections up to 768K. The 1.5 Mbps guys are seeing
around 1.2 Mbps. I'm waiting to see it slow down dramatically as the
number of customers increases. I have noticed another problem, the more
ADSL customers that sign up off this one CO, the more problems my v.90
customers have off that same CO. I can't even convince GTE that there's
a problem, let alone get them to solve it. Calls off that CO now start
at 49,333 and end 3-5 minutes later at 2400-4800 baud. Gotta love the
Great Telephone Experiment.
