We do something like that now. Our Windoze dialer connects to a specific
server on a special port and retrieves the text file stored there right
after connection. For people not using our dialer, we are setting up a
Java app that reads it on demand, but the after dial message is more
effective since it doesn't rely on action by the user. The dialer has
been written with hooks so that it can also listen for a broadcast message
or to individual messages.
