Are you going BitSURFR to BitSURFR? If so, you have to use the Bonding
protocol,
you can't use V.120 or PPP or anything like that... Here are the init
strings I'm
using that I got from Motorola...

115K (2B)
=========
AT&F2&C1&D2%A4=1

56K (1B)
========
AT&F2&C1&D2%A2=2%A4=1

I'm using them with the extra %A98=S (also %A93=E on the answering modem)
for doing
data over voice (Hell Atlantic territory... escaping the per minute
charges).

They've been going for 2 or 3 days connected straight with no problems
whatsoever.

Regards,
