We get lots of OEM modems in the shop without drivers.

We have also had little luck with FCC codes... Most modems don't have registered

numbers or are the wrong syntax for the FCC search engine.

So far we have had the best luck with going into terminal mode and

entering ATI1 (one) through ATI8. Usually we can get ROM version

and manufacture out of that.
