I'll try to make a constructive comment now.

This is a very good example of why it would benefit everyone to open
the magic "pmvision protocol". There are people out here writing code
for these things. Right now we have to put up with nasty hacks like
telnetting in. But much like RADIUS, there could be a wonderful
library of third-party utilities that make use of all those facilities
that are currently only available to PMVision & Friends. It would
shut down one source of whining, and make a lot of us much happier.

And while you're at it, open ChoiceNet.

I won't ask for source code to ComOS, 'cause I'm not _really_ a
crackpot. That's an issue to be dealt with a few years from now.
