If you are using Windows95 and WindowsNT the problem is probably the fact
that the 'Browser' function does not work across subnets/networks in all
cases. Certain service packs and upgrades to DUN and TCP/IP fix the
problem, but we have not been able to come up with a common fix. You
should search the MS site. When we ran in to the problem thats what we did
and there were several articles on the subject.

In fact, we ran into the problem with Win95 clients talking to our PDC
across a firewall. We had thought it was a problem with the fire wall.
Then we were installing a new machine and discovered that all of a sudden
everything worked fine from the newly installed machine. We did some
experimenting and ended up loading the newest version of DUN on the
remaining machines and everything worked fine. We were connecting via a
network card so I have no idea what other components in the new version of
DUN would have effected...but it sure did something.
