I was just there, but boy, does the new site suck, or what?
I went from being a nice, fast-loading, easily navigable page to something
that took 4 minutes to load over a 33.6 modem - I don't know what the hell
is 104K on the first page, but I wish they'd dump it. It's not very Lynx-
friendly, either:

Remote Access Business Unit, Lucent Technologies (p1 of 3)

function BTL_swapImage() { //v1.0 var i,theObj,j=0,swapArray=new
Array,oldArray=document.BTL_swapImgData; for (i=0; i var loaded =
false; var lastrolled = null; var mouse_in = 0; // 0 no menu, 1 main,
2 sub1, 3 sub2, etc. var rollout_timer =
setTimeout("window.status='Data Networking'", 1); var MENU_CHOICES_MAX
= 6; function makeArray() { this.length = makeArray.arguments.length;
for (var i = 0; i Remote Access Business Unit, Lucent Technologies
Lucent Technologies Home What's New About Us Employment Search DNS
Home

Even worse, the search site blew up my Netscape 3.02 window. The cutesy
pop-up menus? Garbage. The navigation bars? They take too long to load,
and the whole category->subcategory->subsubcategory->subsubsubcategory
stinks.

Looks like marketing got ahold of it, and decided to make it "flashier
and trendier," but have just succeeded in cheesing off the people who
access the site on a regular basis.

I think I'll point this one out to the folks at www.webpagesthatsuck.com -
they'll have a field day with this one!
