(lets see if I can answer the question this time!)

This seems to work:

1.3.6.1.2.1.2.1.0&1.3.6.1.2.1.2.1.0:public@pm -1

doing a 'snmp' lookup up it gives

interfaces.ifNumber.0

Which is very close to number of modems. You do need to subtract 1 for
ether0 and for any other sub interfaces you have (hence the -1).
