Yep, you need to turn on on snmp in the PM-3. You can do this with PM
Vision or from the command line with:
set snmp on
add snmphost reader TheIPaddress
add snmphost writer TheIPaddress
set snmp readcommunity STRING
set snmp writecommunity STRING
save all
reboot
You need to specify the IP Address of the machine that will be running MRTG
and you should probably change the community names from 'public' and
'private' as a security measure. Enabling SNMP itself requires that the
PM-3 be rebooted.
