AFAIK Lucent, does not actually make either the actual modem card or provide
the code for the "LT Winmodems". They do use a Lucent Tech. DSP, but the
actual modem hardware and code are done by the OEM. (The design of both may
be based on a reference design done by Lucent.)

Also, keep in mind that until recently Livingston (PM3) had no direct
connection to Lucent (LT Winmodem).
