I realize that b17 (and all other Betas for that matter) may have potential
or real problems with STAC compression. However, as we're building
marketing plans for a future release date (pending the resolutions of these
issues), a "plain english" explanation would be a benefit for us. If one
doesn't exist, we'll write one - but it would be nice to get it from the
horse's mouth. 8) Thanks for the heads-up though.
