Yeah, but I can connect from this same USR to other two PM3's running
b13 just fine. And also I had problems dialing in from another PM3. That's
why I blamed the telco first and that's why we did testing directly at the
switch (yeah, I really was surprised they offered this...).

Yeah, same card. When we put it back in the 1st slot, the problems
reappeared if we did not turn off the first couple of modems (did not try
only turning off the first one).

Yeah, I agree with the logic, but why does it work when I disable the
first couple of modems on the card? This means that every single modem
chip has it's own data path to the mainboard and only the first datapath
is broken. Hmmm, thinking about it, it could be possible. Only, I was
hoping it's the card, replacing the chassis is really much harder than
replacing only the card.

We put the card back and forth between the slots and I don't think we
would be able to put it in incorrectly every single time.

Yes, I will be bringing in another card from a working POP and testing it
in slot 1. But it'll take me a couple of days.
