i have exactly the same problem with acer model 56pvs-T (x2 modems) with
the pm3. What's funny, is that the modems say they do not, without
upgrades support v.90 and in fact, they Do. We get connections of around
50k in V90 mode with them. However, the data send/receive is very slow,
exactly like what you described. We are also running b16 i believe. I
posted a similar question as you a couple weeks ago and never got a
response. We are running over a channelized T1 however.
