This is a pretty broad statement, and incorrect. If anything, the telco
never provides timing. When a telco DOES provide timing, it is actually
coming from their terminating equipment on the circuit, ie voice switch,
frame switch. When you order a point to point connection, the timing
should be totally transparent and it is your responsibility for overall
timing of the circuit.
