The problems really start if you have the UPS drain dead and the power then
kicks back on. I've had two customers kill UPS that way. One actually had
flames shoot out the back of a triplight and melt down. Both times the call
to trip light and APC when likes this:
"Did the customer have a surge strip pluged into the UPS?"
"Yes"
"Sorry, but............"
