According to the examples at
http://www.livingston.com/Tech/Docs/ROUTING/rip.fm.html, I have done the
following:
IRX: set ether0 address 208.130.151.1
set ether0 netmask 255.255.255.0
set netmask 208.128.115.0 255.255.255.224
PM2: set ether0 address 208.130.151.2
set ether0 netmask 255.255.255.0
set netmask 208.128.115.0 255.255.255.224
set assigned 208.128.115.1
set pool 30
Other PM2: Similar config..
Now, when I dial into the PM2, I get an assigned address
208.128.115.(1-30). I am able to ping and connect to sites outside of my
local ethernet network (208.130.151.0), but the local network is
unaccessible. A traceroute will get stuck at 208.130.151.2.
The second class C (208.128.115.0) is only for dialup addresses. OSPF is
not an option since the 3COM TC equipment does not support it. I have
read through the various routing guides and perused previous mailing
lists, but none of the solutions seems to work.
I hope this all doesn't sound too incoherent. Any help would be GREATLY
appreciated. Thanks in advance.
