At this time I have not seen any commitment to V.110 with the new card.
The thing with V.110 is it uses the modem DSPs - it is a rather messy
protocol. So it isn't something that just happens in ComOS, like V.120.
Livingston had open access to the ADI DSPs and did V.110 there - hence it
working on the old cards. It is something that will have to be included in
the new DSP code to work on the new cards, and right now I think V.90 is
the priority there. I personally expect them to do it, but I don't think
it will even be on the table until the existing DSP issues are over with.
Note that other vendors have the same thing, Cisco has "V.110 cards" for
some chassis, etc. Unfortunately V.110 lingers on - if it would up and die
this wouldn't be an issue. :-) V.120 is nice, doesn't need a DSP.
