(PM) Diamond 288i Modem Connections

I know that the v.90 is in beta and that is not my issue here, what I need
is to find out if anyone has worked around the issue of some modems just
refusing to connect to the PM3 using the v.90 beta? Specifically we have a
problem with Diamond 288i PNP modems, and Sierra 3485 voice modems.

If you have any information that we can use to make these connect it would
be greatly appreciated.
