Some days ago I asked the list questions about getting a multi-PM3,
on-demand-inbound, on-demand-outbound connection to work properly.
The concensus seems to be that, until the location-based route can be made
less attractive than a route learned by, say, OSPF, I'm shit outta luck.
To work around this, I've set up our two-way on-demand customers as if we
had only one PM3. This will work for a little while longer, but not
forever (during the day, when these links are heavily used, we normally
have 20+ lines open, or did before moving on-demand customers from
OR-U's).
Others have mentioned that Livingston may be working on the ability to
change the priority of location-based routes, or to scan the MCPPP
"database" for routes that should be considered most-favourable, but I'm
going to submit an RFE anyway, just to get my name in there.
Thanks to everyone who sent me suggestions.
