Once upon a time Krzysztof Adamski shaped the electrons to say...
>I'm still new to OSPF, so this may be a silly question, but why does the
>PM advertize this two routes, instead of JUST the second one?
>
>O E2 209.176.229.9/32 [110/2] via 172.20.20.1, 02:50:25, Ethernet1/0
>O E2 209.176.229.8/30 [110/2] via 172.20.20.1, 02:50:27, Ethernet1/0

>This is a bit from a Cisco router, the PM is on 172.20.20.1

>The routes is for one user and it come from this RADIUS entry:
> Framed-IP-Address = 209.176.229.9,
> Framed-Route = "209.176.229.8/30 0.0.0.0 1",

I'm not sure if this will work, but it is worth trying - and the better
way to do this anyway.

On the PM do 'set user-netmask on'. Then change your RADIUS from:

Framed-IP-Address = 209.176.229.9,
Framed-Route = "209.176.229.8/30 0.0.0.0 1",

To:

Framed-IP-Address = 209.176.229.9,
Framed-IP-Netmask = 255.255.255.252.

That should apply the netmask to the connection. Better than forcing a
secondary route. But I don't know if this will eliminate the second route
in OSPF.

If not you'd have to open a request to have PMs do aggregating of routes.
