heh, we had a customer in a rural area (the sort of area you cant get 56k)
dialing long distance to our POP in the city, and getting fabulous download
speeds at 56k. (average 6.5Kbps).

Then one day GTE noticed their mistake in how his calls were being routed
and decided to correct it... now all he can get is 26400 to the 'local' POP
in his rural area.
