All of my MP/8 and /16 lockups were also when we disconnected a user for
being idle. In our case, it was always the same user, but they had a huge
pool of dialout modems, and we never did figure out which one was the
problem.

I don't think it's a PM problem. I think the MPs just don't like to reset
all the time when they initiate a hangup.
