Once upon a time Mario Misic shaped the electrons to say...
>How is it possible to put filter on ethernet (or on modem) port in PM-10
>ER. Filters are part of choicenet server.

You CANNOT use ChoiceNet filters on the ethernet, period. ChoiceNet is
designed to be used with temporary links - ie, dialin users. Since it
is too easy to lock oneself out of a unit with a filter on ether0 it was
felt to be safer to force users to use local filters. And since the ether0
filter only changes when the port is reset or at boot, there is no real
advantage to using ChoiceNet, certainly not to offset the risks.
