What kind of switch? I have seen one instance on a Siemens switch where
some kind of diagnostics that were run on the switch in the middle of the
night one day a week made a PM3 (connected to CT1) flake out with a
constant alarm condition and loss of sync until power cycled. The switch
showed no alarms and all error logs were empty. Stopped the diagnostics
and no more PM3 flake-outs.
