(PM) FC1 or F2

G'day,

Can anyone tell me what F2 means on an E1 line? In the manual it states
that this means FC1 which I assume to be Fault Condition 1, but what
does it mean in terms of information that I can give the telco to
resolve the problem? The telco can see no fault on their end.

sho line1 [it is a TS014 switch also]

---------------------- line1 - E1 Primary Rate ISDN ---------------

Status: UP F2 Framing: CRC4 Encoding: HDB3 PCM: a-law

Violations
-----------------------------
Bipolar 6326
CRC4 2
E-bit 0
FAS bit 0

The bipolar violations are most likely from when I unplugged the E1's to verify
the cables. The changing of the cables also verified that it was not a defective
port on the pm3.

We are currently running the following ComOS:

Livingston PortMaster PM-3 ComOS 3.8-pw13/9804231127
System uptime is 1 hours 23 minutes
