Line Quality, line quality, modem quality, and line quality are your
biggest issues. We are running Trunkside CT1 for dialin and a T-1 in our
PM3 w/ 3.8b15. The VAST majority of users connect faster with us than *any*
other ISP. The big difference is the equipment. V.90 works great(49333 on
US "Worst" POTS). We can provide 56k Flex where our competitors (Flex)are
losing customers to us daily. X2 can't even come close in this area. The
33.6k customers get 31.2k and 33.6k when they got 26.4k or worse with the
competition. None of our competitors have chosen the Portmaster (thank
goodness). It's stable, reliable and plays well with others.
My $.03 worth.
