What firmware revision is the Pipeline at? We had a customer with rev. 4.6c
and he couldn't bring up more than one line. Took the box to 6.0.2 and
everything is fine. Plus 6.0.2 (and maybe others) supports BACP as well.

Word of warning. Ascend's software upgrade process is not one to take
lightly. Your software image depends on your serial number in many cases
and you must NOT upgrade directly from some releases to others or you will
"cook the router" (quote from Ascend tech support).

To do it correctly you also need a tftp server becuase the images are too
large for the serial port connection (nice design guys). If you have not
upgraded one of these before, I recommend calling Ascend tech support and
letting them help. Expect a two hour hold time on their support line, but
it will be worth it in the long run. Or so Ascend tech support suggests.
