(PM) [jp] Using Cisco 1604 to connect to PortMaster 2

I'm having a bit of trouble with an ISP using a PortMaster 2. I'm
trying to configure my 1604 to connect. As most people know, ROUTING is
the transfer of data from one Internet Domain, or subnet, to another.
My ISP assigned me an IP for the BRI interface and the Ethernet
interface. However, both IP's are in the SAME subnet!! Cisco does not
allow this.

The ISP says that Livingston tech support set them up this way. I can't
believe that would be true.

What can I tell my contact at the ISP to get him to correctly subnet on
his end, and assign me usable IP's.

I welcome any input.
