I see this with Zoom ver. 1.2. In fact we got two free Zoom modems from
Livingston (no we didn't cheat) both are at 1.2 and both do this. We _used_
to use these to demo our fast connections.

Has anyone else noticed that after they spiral down to 24k or so they will
disconnect. I believe the random disconnects with the Zoom 1.2 are at least
related to hitting a retrain limit.
