I've seen this. I got bit badly by it too. I'd done some major changes
(telco rewired all our BRI) to all the spids/dirnos and did a save all
afterwards of course. Late that night, I rebooted the PM for some reason
(can't remember why) and it lost all the changes. I had to drive back to
work at like 2am to get the new list of spids/dirnos and reprogram them.
That really SUCKED.

Is there a chance the PM2 will ever autoset these as some of the better
ISDN TA's do?
