Man do I hear you, esp. in the relatively rural area in which we are
located. (To accomidate us the local telco had to install a fiber
entrance, w/ a litespan cabinet) however, most of the homes in the area
are pre WWW2 (and havent had the wiring updated since) and the phone
lines in the area were all installed circa 1942 (and have never been
updated), add to that a VERY powerfull AM radio station (you can often
times pick up their signal 2 states away) and needless to say, we dread,
rainy, wet, snowy, etc. times of the year here...
You are most definately not alone.
