I seem to be having a problom with my Livingston Radius 2.0.1 (97/5/22).
Listed below is a typical entry:
username Password = "pass", NAS-Port-Type = Async, Connect-Rate = 33600
User-Service-Type = Framed-User,
Framed-Protocol = PPP,
Framed-Address = 255.255.255.254,
Framed-Netmask = 255.255.255.255,
Framed-Routing = None,
Framed-Compression = Van-Jacobsen-TCP-IP,
Framed-MTU = 1500,
Session-Timeout = 28800,
Idle-Timeout = 2400,
Port-Limit = 1
The only problem is that this particular user has a 56k modem and is
connecting at speeds or 44+k ! So either I have something screwed up in
the Radius configuration or the "Connect-Rate" line is not working
properly. In fact I currently have several users with a "Connect-Rate"
line of 33600 but just recently I have found that they went and purchased
56k modems and are connecting above the 33600 speeds!
Has anyone run into this problem ? If so, what might be the fix ? DO I
need a new/newer dictionary file ? New Radius ? New somehthing ?
Any information, hints, tips, pointers, etc, would be greatly
appreciated.......
