Nope, I don't belive it to be the PM3 The busy is actually set off by the TelCos' equipment.

I have had this happen in the past.. Is it a fast beep? As in circuit busy. If so I have had

that happen before when the TelCo is running diagnostics on their equipment. The fun part is getting them

to tell you what they are up too.. They may be having trouble on their own side or another customer with a few lines on the same switch your on is having trouble... The TelCo techs seem to be sloppy sometimes at what they test and who they may or may not interupt.

Which BabyBell are you using? I'm on BellSouth.. Expensive but I have a fairly good team to work with.
