(PM) Resolved -> Re: Dialing into PM3 gets no carrier ?

Within hours of posting the attached, I was contacted by Livingston/Lucent
reps who worked throughout the holiday weekend to resolve the problem.
During a conference call with GTE's engineers on Tuesday, we determined
that the PM was being confounded by the local switch, which was sending the
caller's 7-digit phone number upon connection. When the switch was
re-programmed to absorb the number instead of passing it on to the PM,
everything began working just fine.
