Once upon a time Don Lashier shaped the electrons to say...

Actually it is from Gryphon and I sitting around one night trying to
think of some job title that was obscure, odd, yet still accurate.

Interstitial means "of, or relating to, interstices". Interstices are
small gaps, or spaces, between objects - a fancy word that can mean
'cracks'.

"Interstial Affairs" is a fancy way of saying "The things that fall
through the cracks."

In other words, I was kind of a random, do what needs to be done type.
Customer support, training, competitive analysis, doc review, testing,
etc.

Actually I think the meaning has come up on the list before, but I'm
not sure - I'm on so many lists it might have been one of the others.
I've definitely been asked in direct email a few times.
