Hello
I received an Office router with a POTS port today. All points below
compare Office Router with and without POTS. Also all points apply to
the UK. So they might be different elsewhere.

Good points :-
1) It is easier to configure in the UK now.
2) You don't have to put isdn-numberplan etc. in.
3) you don't have to put SPID and DN in.
4) SO you can send it to site and immediately dial in. Before( OR
without POTS) you had to set a SPID and DN before before it could
receive a call.
5) It also has 2 megs on memory instead of 1 meg (OR without POTS).
MAJOR BAD POINT :-
1) ONLY 1 POTS PORT!!!!!
How am I going to plug a FAX and telephone into the ISDN line with MSN
to select phone or FAX.
If you went through all the bother of putting a pots port on it. You
should have put 2 on.

Apart from that 1 BAD POINT, it works like a dream.
Cheers
James
P.S. Last bad point :- NO CALLING ID CHECK yet.
