This is definitely possible, because I have it. I wouldn't know
BellSouthese or BellAtlanticese for it though; I got it from a telco
where I get to speak directly to people who do switch programming.
I have this on PRIs from a 5ESS (PM3 switch type ATT-5ESS).
To tie a couple of threads together: PRI B channels are not tied to
specific ports, but PRIs are tied to banks of ports. My dedicated
line clients come in on PRI #2, on specific B channels, and they
always get the next unused port in the S24-S46 bank. With isdn debug
on I can see them come in on the B channel the telco says they're
supposed to.
What I don't know and am curious about is whether B channels are tied
to specific DS0s - i.e., if a PRI is vacant and gets a call on B
channel 20, does that mean the call is on DS0 timeslot #20?
