Trumpet 2.0b defaults to 1500. 2.1F defaults to 5xx (don't
remember exactly, maybe 576?). Many of our users are set to
1500 with no problems, but that's with my code on our end,
not PM2. I'll find out shortly if this is a prob. as I just
bought a PM25. Hope I don't have to reconfigure 400 Slip
customers :) BTW, I've never read anything that indicates
that SLIP is different than PPP (or IP) re MTU. As I recall
the only limit (other than 64k) is that imposed by ethernet.
802.3/802.2 is limited to 1492 though (because of the extra
header fields?).
