I decided to check out what people were talking about, so I tried
downloading the latest ComOS via Netscape (3 and 4) and IE (3 and 4) ...
All of them displayed the file as a text file inside the browser window.

So I hit back and right-clicked on the filename and choose "Save File As"
(Netscape) or "Save Target As" (Internet Explorer), and the files saved just
fine. Regardless of browser, the files compared with the original that I
grabbed via the FreeBSD fetch command.

The problem is that the browsers try to interpret files based on extensions,
and ComOS files don't have (nor do I see that they should have) extensions.
Right-clicking downloads the files fine.
