(PM) Win 3.1 problems after 3.7.2c3

Some information for you all:

I upgraded our PM-3's to 3.7.2c3 this morning.

Now, a large number of Windows 3.1 clients using trumpet, and so
far it appears all using SLIP, are having problems.

Additionally, most of them have older USR sportsters that are labeled
as 28800 modems, but ati4 shows them as 33600 modems.

These modems all used to connect at 28.8, but now mostly connect at
31.2

All of these users are having problems getting mail. Web, ftp, etc seems
to be OK.

So far, we've been able to fix everyone (100 so far, sheesh!!) by
a combination of changing MTU or mvoing them to PPP.

And since I started writing this, one of the techs changed the default
MTU for slip on our end from 1006 to 512, and this seems to have cleared
up some more of them.

I don't have any real reason why this may have happened, and I think someone
at Livingston needs to comment. Faster speed through the PM-3? Broken
SLIP implementation??
