I see exactly where you are coming from, we are getting the reboots and
bad speeds as well.

My point of view is that if the reboots were all that c3/3.8 fixed I would
be in there like a shot, but when there are a large number of fixes you run
the risk of swapping a problem you know about for one which you don't
know about, which can cost a lot of time and effort tracking down.
