You are quite right that it won't work using PMConsole, I have no idea
why. But it DOES work using the command line.
Something like:
add user bbs
set user bbs service telnet
set user bbs destination bbs.your.domain (might need IP#)
save user
If I've got it right, the user bbs will show up correctly in PMConsole.
