That's Siemens AG at http://www.siemens.de.
I'm on my mobile terminal right now and LOVE it. How about it,
Livingston, integrate Ricochet wireless transponders so you help
the ISPs to wean themselves from this diabolical dependency on
local Bell Operating companies.
$299.00 per year which works out to around $25 per month and this
includes the wireless phoneline. Land phone lines around here are
about $15.00 per month.
Thoughput is up to 3.1 kByte/sec but latency is around 350 ms using
analog modem emulation under PPP. With direct digital access to
the transponders throughput goes up and latency down.
