Yes, that's Global Village Internal and external Modems that are junk...
and Yes the PPP dialer being used must be configured to dial up to your
system... Probably using all of that junk like,,, wait.. 10secs, send,
... username,, wait,,, 10sec,,,, send password.. etc.. (login script),,
it is not that the Mac and its modem or software do not know how to
achieve a mundane login to a term server... It is just that the people
who made the computer regard this as outdated technology.. It may be
that this machine is simply to smart for your equipment,, not
incompatible with it..
