Unfortunately OS8 and the Apple Internet Connection Kit, similarly use
Open Transport PPP and MacPPP respectively.. the best thing to do, is
kick these to the curb and get FreePPP, as it is infallible.. However,
there are no silly log onto network, or netbui garbaging up the
connection configs. Loging into a non terminal server should be fine,,,
A terminal server is probably not going to be very successful, as the
System and Computer are of a time that seems to regard these devices as a
thing of the past and therefore nonexistent. Using a different comm.
tool such as FreePPP, or even INterSlip, will give you better luck on a
Termserver...
