We haven't even, to my knowledge, found this to be a problem in ComOS.
I've never seen this myself, nor had anyone else in support mention it.
I haven't heard anything about any issues with IP connectivity in support
or engineering.
Disconnects in general are down across the board in 3.7.2 compared
to 3.7.1 or 3.7. The modem code in c2 did attempt to address issues like
dead air, but was not successful, and in some cases degraded performace
greatly, so it went back into engineering. K56flex code evolves literally
daily much of the time, with constant new builds for testing. So when a
release is done the latest code known to be stable and reliable is what
the public gets.
There are actually a number of 'c2' builds, many with date codes in
addition to the number. There were also c1 builds. None are for public
consumption, and since you don't know what you're getting running one
without it coming from support is not wise.
